Family Resources | Week of September 3

This month preschoolers are learning that God knows what is best for me. This week they see this when they learn that Eve had to choose between obeying God and doing what she thought was right. Eve learned that God knows what is best for me a few bites too late.

Lead Their Growth: Cuddle with your child and pray: “God, I believe You love [name of child] and me A LOT, and because You love us, You will always want what is best for us.”

This month elementary students are learning about friendship, which is using your words and actions to show others you care. This week we studied Ecclesiastes 4:9-12, and the main point was “Choose your friends carefully.”

Lead their growth: Ask, “What makes someone a good friend?”
