Family Resources | Week of February 5th

This month preschoolers are learning that Jesus loves me. This week they see this when they learn about how Jesus loves the children. The disciples may have thought that the children didn’t belong with Jesus, but Jesus made it very clear that He loves the children and wanted them to be with Him. 

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, count how many children you can name together. Talk about how Jesus loves all children and wants to be their friend forever.

This month elementary students are learning about how we can treat others like Jesus would. This week, we learned how Jesus called some disciples that other people might have left out (Luke 5). The main point was, “Include people who are left out.”

Lead Their Growth: Ask your child, “How can you include someone who might feel left out?”
