Family Resources | Week of July 24th

This month preschoolers are learning that Jesus can help them do everything. This week they see this when they learn about how gentle Jesus was with the little children. It was important to Jesus to have the little children come to Him because He loves them.

Lead Their Growth: Make bubbles during bath time (with bubble bath). Tell your child you are both going to practice being gentle and see if you can pick up bubbles without popping them.

This month elementary students are learning that what we do today can change the world around us. This week, we looked at how Jesus cared for the little children (Mark 10:13-16) and the main point was the Holy Spirit can help you be gentle.

Monthly Verse: “God began a good work in you. And I am sure that he will carry it on until it is completed. That will be on the day Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask, “What does it mean to be gentle?” and “How is Jesus gentle?”

Our Middle School and High School students just got back from summer camps! Continue to pray as they make decisions and return home to difficult situations. Pray that our students will lean on the Lord as they change their lives.

Lead Their Growth: Ask your student how you can help their spiritual growth this week.
