Family Resources | Week of July 17th

This month preschoolers are learning that Jesus can help them do everything. This week they see this when they learn about faithfulness in David and Jonathan’s friendship. David was faithful to Jonathan and kept his promise.

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, tell your child that faithfulness is doing what you say you will do. Jesus is a faithful friend because He always does what He says He will do.

This month elementary students are learning that what we do today can change the world around us. This week, we looked at how Jonathan and David were faithful friends (1 Samuel 18–20, 2 Samuel 9, 2 Samuel 4:4) and the main point was the Holy Spirit can help you be faithful. 

Monthly Verse: “God began a good work in you. And I am sure that he will carry it on until it is completed. That will be on the day Christ Jesus returns.” Philippians 1:6, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask, “How can you be faithful so others can count on you?” and “How has God been faithful to us?”
