Family Resources | Week of Jun 26th

This month preschoolers are learning that Jesus can help them do everything. This week they see this when they learn about Simeon. Simeon waited year after year to see Jesus. He chose patience, and it paid off!

Lead Their Growth: While on the go, ask your child: “When is it hard for you to wait?” (to eat, have a turn, go somewhere) Tell your child that Jesus can help us choose patience and wait with a happy heart.

This month elementary students are learning that what we do today can change the world around you. This week, we looked at the patience principle in Proverbs 15:18 and the main point was the Holy Spirit can help you be patient.

Monthly Verse: The fruit the Holy Spirit produces is love, joy and peace. It is being patient, kind and good. It is being faithful and gentle and having control of oneself.” Galatians 5:22-23a, NIrV

Lead Their Growth: Ask “What can you do when you’re feeling impatient?” and “What can we do to choose patience?”
